Missouri reports rise in cases, Arkansas running out of ICU space

According to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, the state added 1,119 cases of COVID-19 on Monday. 

The state also reported no additional deaths. 

County by county numbers as of Tuesday morning say that Oregon County reports 78 active cases, Ripley County has 57, Howell County reports 90, Ozark County shows 79, Douglas County has 54, Texas County reports 61, and Shannon County has 49.

The Arkansas Department of Health reports 995 new cases of COVID-19 across the state. 

21 more Arkansans have died due to the virus. 

An additional 103 people were hospitalized, plus 25 more were placed on ventilators. 

In county by county numbers as of Tuesday morning in Arkansas, Fulton County is reporting 70 active cases, 414 in Baxter County, 94 in Izard County, 176 in Sharp County, 65 in Randolph County, and 90 in Lawrence County. 

Arkansas has only 8 ICU beds available and reached a record high number of hospitalizations yesterday.

Ozarks Healthcare will be holding clinics at area schools administering the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. 

Two clinics will be held, one at Koshkonong Schools in the Library Media Center from 8 am to 11 pm. 

The other is being held at the Alton School District in the Elementary Multi-purpose Building from 12 pm to 3 pm.
