The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks is asking you to give the gift of life while blood supplies remain at an all-time low.
CBCO is the sole supplier of blood and plasma to patients at 44 area healthcare facilities, reporting less than a one-day supply of all blood types. While COVID-19 vaccinations are in progress, the turnout at many area blood drives is still being negatively affected.
Ozarks Healthcare and the Community Blood Center of the Ozark will host a blood drive on Friday, Aug. 13, from noon until 6 p.m., at the Willard Hunter Classroom in the Ozarks Healthcare Parkway Center at 1211 Porter Wagoner Blvd. in West Plains.
The Red Cross will host a blood drive on August 19th from 12:00 to 5:00 pm at the North Arkansas Family Clinic in Salem. To schedule a time, call 1-800-733-2767 or visit RedCrossBlood.org. The clinic is located at 673 N. Main in Salem, AR.
