A Fulton County man was arrested on battery charges on Tuesday according to court documents.

On July 29, 2021, Fulton County Sheriff Deputies were called to the 500 block of Rainbow Valley Trail in Mammoth Spring.

The caller stated that 27-year-old Dustin Johnson had come to her house and told her that he hit his mother for no reason and the caller needed to come to check on her because he had hit his mother pretty hard.

That’s when the call was placed to the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies arrived on the scene and observed blood on the victim’s chin and nose.

When asked where she had been hit, the victim replied “he busted my lip”.

The suspect, Dustin Johnson, was located in a camper on the caller’s property and was taken into custody.

As Deputies were escorting Johnson to a patrol unit, Johnson turned to the deputies and began shouting obscenities, then turned to paramedics and shouted again.

Johnson is facing charges of felony 2nd-degree domestic battery and disorderly conduct.

He’s being held in the Fulton County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
