An accident in Douglas County sent one person to the hospital on Saturday according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Crash reports state that a 2019 Freightliner Box Truck driven by 34-year-old Zachariah Malcom was traveling northbound on Highway 5, one mile south of Ava, MO.
The vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a rock embankment, then went off the left side of the roadway and struck a second rock embankment, then overturned.
Malcom was taken by ambulance to Cox South in Springfield for treatment of his injuries.
Another crash in Howell County sent one to the hospital on Saturday according to MSHP.
Crash reports state that a 2015 Polaris Ranger driven by 36-year-old Brian Rothermich was traveling on private property on County Road 2720 east of Willow Springs.
Rothermich was taken by air ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
