The Arkansas State Police is reporting a fatal crash in Lawrence County killed one on Wednesday.
Fatal crash summaries from ASP state that a 2016 Nissan Rogue driven by 21-year-old Macy Jines was traveling northbound on Hwy 63 near Hoxie when the vehicle she was driving entered the path of a 2014 Peterbilt driven by 47-year-old Michael Edward of Golden, MS.
As a result, the Rogue’s front side struck the driver’s side of the Peterbilt.
Edward was taken by ambulance to St. Bernards Healthcare in Jonesboro for treatment.
Road conditions were dry and the weather was clear at the time of the crash.
