The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office is reporting an arrest for aggravated assault on Monday according to court documents.

A probable cause affidavit states that Deputy Phil Story and Blair Able responded to a call for shots fired and a woman screaming on Highway 223 in Viola.

When Deputy Story arrived on the scene, he found a female victim crying unconditionally and being unable to speak.

The victim stated that a male suspect, 33-year-old Casey Bailey, had threatened her after an argument between the two.

The victim also stated that Bailey began getting irate when he was told to leave her uncle’s home because she was going to bed.

Bailey began cussing, and on his way out the front door, he pulled a gun out and fired two rounds into the yard.

After firing the weapon, Bailey turned around and said “I will ******* kill you”.

He then got in his vehicle and fled the scene.

Once police arrived on the scene, they issued a be on the lookout for Bailey’s car description, and he was later found in Brockwell, AR.

Bailey admitted that he had been drinking, and deputies took him into custody.

After searching his vehicle, two firearms were seized from the vehicle for evidence.

He now faces charges for felony aggravated assault, 1st-degree felony terroristic threatening, and misdemeanor disorderly conduct.

Bailey’s bond was set at $5,000.
