
A one-vehicle accident in Shannon County sent one to the hospital on Friday.
Crash reports from the Highway Patrol state that a 1998 Dodge Dakota is driven by 36-year-old Bruce Flaugh of Eminence, MO was traveling westbound on Highway O, seven miles north of Mountain View, when the Dakota traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.
Flaugh was taken by ambulance to Cox South in Springfield for treatment of his injuries.
Flaugh is also facing charges now after his accident.
The Highway Patrol is reporting charges for felony possession of a controlled substance, driving while intoxicated – persistent offender, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, failure to drive on the right half of the roadway, and no seat belt.
He was released for medical treatment.
