The Missouri Highway Patrol is reporting an accident and arrest in Shannon County after a crash late Friday evening.
Crash reports state that a 1995 Chevrolet Lumina driven by 29-year-old Celena Clous of Ava, MO was traveling Westbound on Highway 76, three miles west of Goodhope, MO when the vehicle she was driving traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree.
Clouse was reported to have moderate injuries on the scene, she was transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
Arrest records state that Clouse is now facing charges for driving while intoxicated and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway.
She was released to medical transport.
