Two, 4-Vehicle Accidents In 30 Minutes in Troop G Last Night

Officers with Troop G of the Missouri highway Patrol were busy with two different four vehicle accidents last night between 6 and 6:30 .  In the first accident around 6:15 only one person was injured. 51 year old David Walker of Licking suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Texas memorial hospital. The Highway patrol reports that Walker was injured when a truck driven by 34 year old Daniel Cooper of Mountain View hit the truck that Walker was driving from behind causing Walker’s vehicle to hit two other vehicles. The accident happened on Mo 132 about 4 miles south of Licking. In the Second accident around 6:30, two people were injured, one seriously when 19 year old Hunter Garrison of mountain Grove crossed the centerline and hit a vehicle driven by 35 year old Dustin Harris of Ava, then started sliding and slid into a vehicle driven by 45 year old Jennifer Carr of Norwood and another vehicle. Garrison suffered serious injuries and was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield, a passenger in Garrison’s vehicle, 23 year old Dustin Higby of Mountain Grove suffered minor injuries. the accident happened on highway C about 3 miles south of Norwood.
