A UTV accident in Texas County sent a juvenile to the hospital on Monday evening according to the Highway Patrol.
Crash reports state that a 2017 Polaris XP1000 UTV driven by a 17-year-old male juvenile was traveling northbound on Ridge Road and Westview road, 1 mile east of Houston when the UTV attempted to make a left turn, lost control, and ejected a 14-year-old passenger from the cargo box.
The passenger was reported to have moderate injuries on the scene and was taken to the Texas County Memorial Hospital by private vehicle.
