NAEC releases statement regarding late bills in the mail

Many North Arkansas Electric Cooperative members have experienced a delay in receiving their mailed statements this month.

NAEC’s vendor processed and mailed the statements Oct. 1, but some members still have not received them as of Oct. 11. We attribute this delay to the new service standards the United States Postal Service instituted Oct. 1. According to the USPS, transit time for standard first-class mail may take up to five days for mail traveling longer distances.

Those who have not received a statement may view a PDF of their statement or their balance on the NAEC mobile app or NAEC Member Account Portal at naeci.com. They also may call NAEC at 870-895-3221 to speak with a member service representative or use the automated phone system.

Members with an email address might consider adding E-Bill notifications to their account. They then will begin receiving monthly emails with a link to access their statement online.
