MSHP arrests man after crash for DWI

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is reporting the arrest of a man in Reynolds County on Wednesday. 

Arrest records state that 56-year-old Paul Blackman of Black, MO was arrested on charges of felony DWI including physical injury and careless and imprudent driving involving a motor vehicle. 

Crash reports state that a 2020 Kawasaki KRX1000 driven by Blackman went off the right side of the roadway and overturned multiple times. 

Blackman and his passenger, 62-year-old Dena Tompkins, were reported to have moderate injuries on the scene. 

They were both taken to the Iron County Hospital for treatment.
