The Ozark County Sheriff’s Office is reporting the arrest of a man, but this one is much sweeter than usual.

Sheriff’s deputies performed a traffic stop on Noel Cole, who was wanted for several outstanding felony warrants in Douglas County.

Once officers started speaking to Cole, he began to run away.

Deputy Miller with the Sheriff’s Office deployed his taser and made contact; however, the vehicle door pulled the cords free from Cole.

Once the subject fled, Deputy Miller noticed something in his hand that he could not identify.

Cole was apprehended by deputies a short time later, and it was later discovered that he was holding a Marie Callenders Chocolate Cream Pie.

Police say that the pie is being held with Cole’s other personal belongings when he is released.

He is currently being held in the Ozark County Jail.
