Two West Plains Residents face several charges in connection with counterfeit checks in Howell and Oregon County. 21 year old Samantha Deardorf and 28 year old Brandon Childress were arrested earlier this month by Thayer Police. Deardorf is charged with 4 counts of felony forgery, 1 count of felony stealing, in Howell County and 3 counts of felony forgery, 1 count of felony fraudulent use of a credit/debit device, 2 felony counts of delivery or possession of controlled substance at a jail, 1 misdemeanor count of delivery or possession of a prohibited item at a jail in Oregon County. Childress is chargd with 2 counts of felony forgery, 1 count of felony stealing in Howell County and 3 counts of felony forgery, 1 count of felony fraudulent use of a credit/debit device in Oregon County.
