The National Weather Service in Springfield confirms that a tornado touched down Sunday evening in Dent County, MO.
According to the Storm Prediction Center, 100 MPH winders began just east of Highway 19 near Gladden, MO.
SPC also says the maximum path width was 440 total yards.
Severe thunderstorms moved through the Missouri Ozarks Sunday evening, causing multiple tornado and severe thunderstorm warnings.
Eastern Missouri counties, including Madison, St. Francois, Pettis, and more, were affected by multiple tornados that caused severe damage.
