The Mammoth Spring City Council met on Monday evening at the Mammoth Spring Fire Department.

Among things discussed, the city will be doing two leaf pickups, one in December and one in the Spring.

The city will also switch phone providers from Centurylink to Fidelity due to a cheaper service price for the same coverage.

Mayor Charles Vaughn announced that Alderman Larry Burns would be resigning from the city council.

Alderman Burns has served the city for 16 years, and his resignation was effective immediately.

City Council may appoint a new member at the December meeting.

The Mayor also showed his appreciation for all that helped in making Spooktacular a great success.

Mammoth Spring City Council meets on the first Monday of every month, now at 6 pm, and meetings are open to the public.
