COVID-19 UPDATE: Arkansas active cases increase, BRHS President shows slight concern

The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reports 946 new cases of COVID-19 from Wednesday. 

An additional nine Missourians lost their lives due to COVID-19. 


The Arkansas Department of Health reports 546 new cases of COVID-19 from Wednesday. 

Active cases increased by six. 

Those currently in the hospital increased by six, bringing the total number of hospitalizations to 331, and there was no change in ventilator use. Eighty-eight people remain on ventilators in Arkansas at this time. 

An additional 22 people died on Wednesday due to COVID-19. 

I spoke to Baxter Regional Health System President and CEO Ron Peterson, and he tells us there is a minor concern with a rise in cases.
