The Thayer City Council met on Tuesday evening and held a town-hall discussion at 6pm before the meeting.
Around 15 people attended the meeting, and the main takeaway from the conference was “what is the plan now?”.
Economic Development was the main talk, and the industrial park land was still being considered for growth in the city.
The City Council then held its monthly meeting, discussing multiple items.
One of the main points was approving the Elks Lodge to obtain a Sunday liquor license.
An alderman said that the lodge had already obtained a liquor license, so they could receive the Sunday license, but the council must vote on it.
