Mammoth Spring Police arrest man standing in yard holding gun

The Mammoth Spring Police Department reports the arrest of a man for gun possession. 

According to a probable cause affidavit, 59-year-old Joe Glaser was arrested on Nov. 29 by Assistant Police Chief Jamie Turnbough. 

Officer Turnbough received a call of Glaser standing in his yard with a gun. 

He responded to the area, and when he arrived, Glaser was standing in his yard. 

Turnbough asked about the gun, and he stated he was going to get a ride a sell it for groceries. 

Turnbough revered the gun and ran the serial numbers. 

Glaser is charged with a Class D Felony, possession of a firearm by certain persons. 

He’s being held in the Fulton County Jail and is awaiting a court date.
