A Howell County man was arrested on misdemeanor DWI charges on Thursday.
Arrest records show that 35-year-old Billy Barton of Peace Vally is charged with misdemeanor driving while intoxicated, failure to drive on the right half of the roadway resulting in an accident, driving while suspended, and having no seat belt.
Barton was taken to the Howell County Jail and was later released.
