Two people have been charged in connection with counterfeit $100 bills at businesses in Thayer and West Plains. 23 year old Jaquan Hancock of Meridian Mississippi and 20 year old Makayla Jones of Memphis Tennessee are both charged with 6 counts of felony forgery and one misdemeanor count of stealing. The two were arrested in Paragould Arkansas after allegedly passing counterfeit bills there. Missouri Authorities were contacted when officers found receipts from West Plains and Thayer in their vehicle.
