The United States Geological Survey said a minor earthquake occurred on Friday morning in Butler County.
According to USGS, the earthquake happened around 6:13 Friday morning and was 13.5 miles northwest of Poplar Bluff.
Maps from the Geological Survey said the earthquake measured 2.5 magnitude, and we have received no reports of anyone feeling the shake.
