A man was arrested in Izard County on rape charges.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, 18-year-old Seth Mitchell was arrested after an investigation was started when the victim’s guardians contacted police.
The charges come from a period of September to November and involved an 11-year-old child.
Mitchell was arrested on Friday night by authorities in Cross County.
He is charged with five Class Y felonies of rape.
His bond was set at $100,000.
