A Doniphan woman was killed in an accident in Ripley County on Tuesday.
Crash reports show that a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt driven by 83-year-old Patricia Hemphill of Doniphan traveled westbound on US 160 east – four miles east of Doniphan, when it crossed the centerline and struck a 2009 Chevrolet Impala driven by 37-year-old Jamie Conger of Naylor, MO.
As a result of the crash, both drivers were killed and were pronounced dead on the scene by the Ripley County Coroner.
This is Troop E’s 58 and 59 fatality for 2021.
