A recent study that compared all the states in the US to find the best and worst for distracted driving found Arkansans to be the safest in the US.
The report used data from fatalities and distracted driving rates through the National Highway and Traffic Safety Association.
Only having a partial handled phone ban, information from NHTSA says that Arkansas has the least amount of distracted drivers.
The report showed that Arkansas, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Alaska, and New York were in the top five, while New Mexico was the most distracted.
Drivers in the state spend over 8% of their time using their phones on the roadway.
