
A crash in Howell County injured two people on Saturday.
According to crash records, a 2002 Oldsmobile Bravada driven by 19-year-old Jacob Day of Mountain View, MO was traveling eastbound on County Road 3100 – two miles southeast of Mountain View when the car traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree.
The vehicle driver had moderate injuries after the crash and was taken to Ozarks Healthcare, while a 41-year-old passenger was seriously injured in the crash and was taken by Air Evac to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
Neither occupant was wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
Arrest records show that 19-year-old Jacob Day of Mountain View, MO faces charges of driving while intoxicated – drugs, resisting arrest, possession of marijuana, unlawful possession of marijuana, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, no insurance, no license plate lamp, and no seat belt.
