Former Howell County Deputy and Warm Fork Middle School Resource Officer Rob Pilkington pleaded not guilty on Monday at his initial hearing.
The hearing was held in front of Judge Robert Ray.
The case involved Pilkington in a sodomy case with a student in the West Plains School District.
ECNN reported in early November of Pilkington being charged with statutory sodomy of a minor being under 14.
After an investigation by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Howell County Sheriff’s Office, and multiple other agencies, Pilkington was taken into custody.
Pilkington will be back in court for a preliminary hearing on Jan. 19, 2022.
