
The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks will be hosting three upcoming blood drives in the area.
According to press releases, the first will be held at the Community Safe Room at the Texas County Memorial Hospital on Friday, Jan. 14, from 9 am – 3 pm.
Also, a drive will be held at the Frist Baptist Church Family Life Center in Cabool located at 801 Ozark Street from 1 pm – 4 pm on Tuesday, Jan. 18.
Finally, you can donate blood at the Willow Springs St. Paul Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall, located at 701 Main Street, Friday, Jan. 21, from 12 pm – 5 pm.
CBCO is the sole supplier of blood and plasma to patients at 44 area healthcare facilities, needs blood for local use. The organization reports a less than a three-day supply of all type O blood types, but all donations are required in order to help build back reserves after the holidays. Blood drives around the CBCO service region serve a vital function in preserving the good health of our community.
