Mountain Home Man Will Get Mental Examination Before Trial

The attorney for a man accused of attempted murder in Mountain Home has requested that his client under go a mental evaluation to determine if he is competent to stand trial. 42 year old Eric Hall Guynes is charged with attempted capitol murder and first degree battery in connection with an incident in late March in which he allegedly attacked a man and stabbed him with a pocket knife. Guynes case is now set for trial on October 10th.
