MOUNTAIN VIEW, MO  (ECNN) – A police chase through multiple counties led to two arrests over the weekend.

According to the Mountain View Police Department, officers were called to a residence on North Ash St. for a male that was breaking into a home with the resident and a child inside.

The male did not make it into the residents, but police saw two vehicles fleeing the scene and began pursuit, which lasted over 25 minutes.

One car rolled over on Harlow road, and the second vehicle stopped to pick up the driver who had just rolled the car.

The pursuit continued into Summersville, where they then crashed on Highway WW, and both drivers then evaded police on foot.

Texas County Sheriff Deputies arrested the two, and it was learned that the second vehicle that was crashed was stolen the night before in Texas County.

We know driver one was identified as Wayne Sechrest.

Charges are currently pending on the second driver.
