A Shannon County man allegedly killed his brother-in-law over a domestic abuse allegation. 33-year-old Everett Stubbert is accused of stabbing 48-year old David Alley. Stubbert is charged with murder and armed criminal action. Stubbert allegedly told authorities that Alley had been abusing his sister. Authorities say that Stubbert was under influence of alcohol and drugs at the time of the stabbing. The case is being investigated by the Missouri State Highway patrol and Shannon County Sheriff’s Office.
