Local NOAA weather radio to experience outages as crews update transmitter

For listeners in Baxter County, AR, a NOAA Weather Radio station could be interrupted in the area. 

According to a release, the Harrison NOAA Weather Radio Transmitter will be undergoing renovation and maintenance over the next two weeks. 

Weather Radio Broadcasts could be intermittently unavailable during this period.

The station could go off the air intermittently between 9 am and 6 pm.

During that time, listeners should consider WXJ-54 at Yellville or WXJ-66 at Mountain View.
