Area business owners and HR reps are being asked to help with a career fair at the West Plains Middle School.

On Feb. 17, sixth-grade students will be ending their unit on careers.

They will do job research, fill out applications, and write resumes and cover letters.

Due to COVID-19, students were forced to interview others last year to end the unit; however, this year, the fair is back on with the lower COVID-19 cases.

Several stations will be available for professionals from fields such as banking, medical, schools, retail, restaurants, hair salons, and many more careers.

The employer would view the resumes and applications before the interview begins, then give feedback after they finish.

The interviews are scheduled for Feb. 17 at 10 am in the West Plains Middle School FEMA Gym.

It should not take more than an hour of their time for those interested in volunteering.

If you, or your business, would like to participate, contact Korrie Vance by email at korrie.vance@zizzers.org or by phone at (417) 293-8774.
