The United States Geological Survey reports a 2.3 magnitude earthquake in Izard County early Thursday morning.
According to USGS, the quake struck three miles northwest of Mount Pleasent.
The last earthquake within the county occurred on Jan. 21 and was 2.5 miles northwest of Mount Pleasent.
The Geological Survey’s database reports only three have responded, saying they felt the quake.
