
We told you on Friday of Izard County authorities, along with multiple other agencies, taking in one of Texas’s most wanted fugitives.

According to a probable cause affidavit, Police took Whitworth into custody around 9 am on Feb. 15.
Izard County Investigators remained on scene to retrieve the ATV that Whitworth was driving, which was determined to be stolen, including items that had fallen from the ATV during the manhunt.
Authorities located the victim of the stolen property and processed the scene.
In an interview with Whitworth, he admitted to investigators that he entered a tool shed, stole a Honda Fourtrax ATV valued at $2,500, and stole six other items valued at less than $1,000 each.
Whitworth also admitted to entering a hunting stand on the property and stealing clothing from inside of it.
He is charged with felony residential burglary, three felony counts of breaking or entering, felony theft of property of more than $1,000 but less than $5,000, six misdemeanor counts for theft of property less than $1,000, and misdemeanor second-degree criminal mischief causing damage of less than $1,000.
He was given no bond.
