An arrested has been made in the Howell County truck theft case.
According to a release from MVPD, at 9 am Friday, officers recovered a stolen truck on Woolsey Avenue, which had been reported stolen by the Howell County Sheriff’s Office.
Matthew Sherwood of Pomona, MO was arrested for active warrants in Texas County, two second-degree burglary charges, and first-degree property damage.
Charges for possession of the stolen vehicle have been forwarded to the Howell County Prosecuting Attorneys’ office.
MVPD says all suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
