The Kansas City Royals lost to the Toronto Blue Jays 6-5. Salvador Perez hit a 2-run homer in the 1st to give the Royals the lead early, but rookie pitcher Jorge Lopez was roughed up for 5 runs in the 4th, including a Curtis Granderson grand slam as KC lost to Toronto for the second straight night.
