The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a man on burglary charges.

Court documents filed on Thursday show 52-year-old Michael Turner went to his ex-girlfriend’s home near Salem, AR to retrieve some items she had borrowed.

Once the items were collected, Turner went to leave, and she locked her door.

Turner then covered up the victim’s security cameras and began beating on her windows and doors.

The victim uncovered her cameras when he eventually left, but Turner returned.

He was demanding to be let into the home.

When the victim wouldn’t allow him in, Turner grabbed a piece of wood and started ramming the door in an attempt to get in.

He left because the victim told Turner she was on the phone with the police.

The victim later told authorities that she feared for her safety, and had he have gotten into the home, he would have hurt her.

The victim also stated that he drove up and down her road for multiple hours, seeing if she had actually called the police.

He is charged with felony residential burglary and a criminal attempt violation.

Turner was placed on a $5,000 bond and is not allowed to be in contact with the victim involved in the burglary.
