A $50,000 top prize was claimed on a Missouri Lottery “$50,000 Crossword Extra” Scratchers ticket in the Lottery’s Springfield office on March 18.
The winning ticket was purchased at Smoker Friendly, 210 Risner St., in Thayer.
In the last fiscal year, players who purchased tickets in Oregon County won more than $2.3 million in total Missouri Lottery prizes. Retailers in the county received more than $232,000 in commissions and bonuses, and education programs in the county received more than $787,000 in appropriated Lottery proceeds.
