A small earthquake occurred in the area over the weekend.
According to USGS, a 2.2 magnitude earthquake was felt near 6:30 am on Saturday, three miles west of Powhatan in Lawrence County, AR.
The geological survey stated that a 2.2 magnitude is usually small enough not to be felt, but the reporting website says some felt it in the area.
