A man from West Plains was injured in a one vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon south of West Plains. The Highway Patrol reports that 87 year old Donald Acklin was injured when drove off the road and hit some trees and a fence. Acklin was taken to Ozarks Medical center. The accident happened on RT PP about 6 miles south of West Plains around 2:15 Tuesday afternoon.
