A Cave City woman has been arrested on Child abuse charges. Michelle McMahan was arrested after an investigation was conducted by the Crimes against children division, regarding a burn case in Cave City. A Child was left in the care of McMahan and when the father retuned to pick up the child, McMahan told him she had accidentally hurt the child, the father found burns on the arm. The story that McMahan told authorities did not match the burn marks on the child’s arm. McMahan was charged with a class C Felony second degree domestic battery of a child.
