The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a man on assault charges.

According to court documents filed on Thursday, authorities received a written statement from a victim claiming he and 42-year-old Chris Snider got into a physical altercation.

Both were working on a construction site in Viola, AR.

During the course of the day, a wall had been mismeasured.

The victim told Snider to measure the wall again and mark it at an inch and a half.

When Snider measured the board, the victim asked what the tape said, and he replied that he would do it himself.

The victim went to measure the wall, and Snider replied that he was tired of dealing with him.

When the victim looked toward his truck, then back at Snider, he was punched, causing him to lose consciousness.

While on the ground, Snider continued punching the victim, then started kicking him in the head with steel-toe boots.

Another employee on the job site pulled Snider away, but not before the victim had been kicked in the ribs.

The victim was taken to the Fulton County Hospital, where he received treatment for his injuries.

Snider is charged with felony aggravated assault.

His bond was set at $5,000.
