The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the arrest of a Shannon County man on multiple charges.
According to arrest records, 28-year-old Matthew Weant of Eminence, MO was arrested for felony assault on a special victim, felony resisting arrest, felony DWI persistent offender, felony leaving the scene of an accident, felony driving while revoked, careless and imprudent driving, and a misdemeanor Shannon County warrant – resisting arrest.
Weant was taken to the Website County Jail and was placed on a 24-hour hold.
