
In an operation between the Izard County Sheriff’s Office and the 16th Judicial District Drug Task Force, between August of 2021 and February of 2022, authorities have been purchasing methamphetamine from 36-year-old Justin Janson.
Purchasing happened on two separate occasions in Izard County using the information provided to the DTF.
In the first operation, the task force made arrangements to meet with Janson to purchase the methamphetamine.
The evidence was described as one clear plastic baggie containing more than two grams, but less than ten of methamphetamine.
In the second meeting, the task force was able to purchase one clear plastic bag that contained more than two grams, but less than ten of methamphetamine.
Janson is charged with two felony counts for delivery of methamphetamine – less than ten grams, but more than two, and felony failure to maintain a drug premise.
His bond was set at $30,000.
