On 04/15/2022, Officers were dispatched to a West Plains Motel room to check the wellbeing of a resident.
While officers were on the scene the subject refused any medical assistance. While officers were outside the door a gunshot was heard coming from the room. Upon entry, officers discovered the subject with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The coroner was contacted and the subject was pronounced deceased at the scene. Investigation showed no other foul play involved.
