The Houston Police Department has arrested two people for stealing a motor vehicle and being in possession of drugs.
According to a release from the Police Department, on April 17, Officers were informed of a vehicle that was stolen from the Walmart parking lot.
While in the area of the theft, police were told the vehicle was involved in a traffic crash.
Officers then located a male walking from the area of the crash.
The male was identified as 32-year-old Christopher Thibodeaux and was detained for further investigation.
A female involved was also identified as 33-year-old Erica Bain.
The motor vehicle was recovered after being totaled in the crash.
Thibodeaux had a felony warrant out of the State of Texas and is being held in the Texas County Jail on charges of stealing a motor vehicle.
Bain is also in the Texas County Jail on charges of stealing a motor vehicle.
