Thayer R-II School’s Senior Resource Officer Steven Bryant was the guest speaker at the Thayer/Mammoth Spring Rotary Club on Friday afternoon.
Multiple security improvements have been implemented at the school since SRO Bryant started at the school.
While the school is still visiting options for next school year, Officer Bryant says one of the options will scan a government-issued ID.
Plans are being made to improve safety before the school year begins.
