The St. Louis Cardinals won a thriller in L.A. last night, beating the Dodgers 5-3 on 9th inning solo home runs by Jed Gyorko and Matt Carpenter. The blasts came off Dodger closer Kenley Jansen who was making his first appearance since coming off the injury list. Cardinals closer Bud Norris shut the door in the bottom of the 9th, striking out 3 Dodgers to seal the win.
