West Plains School district has received notification Amber Galiher is one of the top seven finalists for the Missouri Teacher of the Year. For the last five years, Mrs. Galiher has taught third grade and kindergarten at the West Plains Elementary, and she was also named the 2018 West Plains School District Educator of the Year. On Tuesday, August 21st Mrs. Gailher, along with the six other state finalist will interview with a state panel where the 2018 Missouri Teacher of the Year will be determined.
